Fall is always a season of fresh starts and renewed energy, and at Coaching International, we are stepping into it with some exciting new initiatives that we believe will spark life-changing impact. As the seasons change, we are launching programs that will strengthen leaders, encourage missionaries, and bring hope to communities in need.

One of the most exciting things happening this fall is our Life Impact Plan project. Twenty leaders will be offered an opportunity to go through their own LIP, designed to help them grow in clarity, confidence, and direction. These leaders will, in turn, be serving in communities around the world. We’ve seen time and time again how powerful it is when a leader takes the time to step back, reflect, and refocus on God’s calling. When a leader is refreshed and equipped, energy and purpose flows to their teams and the people they serve. Imagine the ripple effect—20 leaders finding renewed clarity could impact hundreds of lives on the mission field, making the work more sustainable and making God’s work even more far-reaching.

We’re also thrilled to announce the start of the Coaching International Burundi Coach Network. In September, six emerging coaches in Burundi are beginning a 10-month coaching internship. They’ll receive focused training, mentorship, and real-life coaching experience, preparing them to serve pastors, leaders, and communities in powerful new ways. By the end of the program, they won’t just have skills—they’ll have a vision for multiplying what they’ve learned. This group of coaches will be able to coach leaders in their own language. This is a huge breakthrough. The hope is that this will go on to create a movement of coaching in Burundi. It’s the kind of investment that doesn’t just help for a season—it keeps growing year after year.

And then there’s the story of Pastor Oled—a story that beautifully shows how coaching can awaken a calling. Through his own coaching journey, Oled gained fresh clarity about God’s unique call on his life. Out of that clarity came the vision for the JABUCCA Foundation, co-founded with his wife, Alice. Together, they bring decades of pastoral leadership and grassroots development experience in Burundi, shaped by a deep love for people and a firm belief in God’s power to redeem and restore.

Their ministry track record is both wide and deep—leading child sponsorship programs, mentoring and discipling youth, reaching out to the elderly and marginalized, offering microfinance and family empowerment, and providing emergency relief and trauma care. Every step has been guided by a heart to see people move from survival to flourishing.

JABUCCA was born out of this legacy, carrying a bold vision: Thriving communities across Burundi and the Great Lakes Region restored, resilient, and rooted in dignity, joy, and the love of God. In the wake of devastating floods around Lake Tanganyika, this vision is already being put to the test—and to work. Oled and Alice are serving families who have lost homes, livelihoods, and hope, helping them rebuild not just structures, but dignity and resilience. It’s a powerful reminder that when leaders understand and follow God’s call on their lives, they can be catalysts for transformation in ways that ripple far beyond what they imagined.
